Bidlur A. Shivaprakash, CEO

Shivaprakash is an entrepreneur, an academician and is on the Board of several companies in the USA and India. He was a tenured Professor and was the Chairman of the Computer Science Department at University of Dubuque, Iowa, USA for over 6 years; Shivaprakash subsequently became an entrepreneur from the late 1990's and got involved in several mergers and acquisitions from 2001 and onwards. He was the founder / CEO of Innovative Business Solutions, Inc. (IBSI), until it was acquired by 3i Infotech, Inc. (formerly, ICICI Infotech) in 2005. After the acquisition, he became the President of 3i Infotech Consulting, Inc., for a period of over 3 years. In addition, he was one of the founders of a software services company in the telecom sector "SysFour Solutions, LLC" which was acquired by Mascon International in 2004. He is currently the CEO & MD of IBSFintech, Pvt. Ltd. a company in BFSI sector based out of Bangalore, India; Chief Strategy Officer of Hallmark Healthcare Solutions, LLC in New Jersey, USA, a company in Healthcare provider space; and one of the founding Board of Directors for a non-profit organization "Self Enquiry Life Fellowship", based in California. He has been invited as a guest speaker at several universities on topics such as Global IT perspective, Management strategies, Management Information Systems, and Global Paradigm Shift. Over the years he has received several awards such as "Entrepreneur of the Year" (from Dallas Chamber of Commerce), "Blue Chip Entrepreneur" (from US Chamber of Commerce & Mass Mutual) and "Humanitarian of the Year" (from Rotary Club International). He has degrees in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Computer Science and Business Administration.
